On May 14th, from 9am to 2pm, Oregon AFSCME will be holding a leadership summit aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of current and future member-leaders. This event will be particularly useful to GRU members who might be interested in serving on the bargaining committee next year, or running for office this Spring! Topics covered will include contract bargaining strategies, identifying new leaders, moving members to action, effective union communications, and more! This is a hybrid in-person/online event and is free to all members in good standing. Food and union swag will be provided to all participants!
