Kat Gemperli (they/them)

Kat is a second year graduate student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program where they study oligodendrocyte development in the Chavali Lab. Prior to joining the NGP, Kat worked as an RA for two years at Washington University School in St. Louis and for 1 year at Northwestern University. Kat is also extremely passionate about science communication and creating more opportunities for community engagement for graduate students. In their spare time, you can find Kat hiking, roller skating, or drawing in their sketchbook at Mt. Tabor Park.
